The RUSI Archive houses documents and manuscripts relating to the creation and running of the institute.
This includes council minutes and some membership records. It also includes photographs, cutting books, diaries and newspapers relating to military events or members of the institute. These have been catalogued and details can be found by searching the Library catalogue.
The archive also holds Captain Lionel Challis’s ‘Peninsula Roll Call’ which records the service records of army officers who served in the Peninsula War between 1808 and 1814. A digital version is available for study.
